In 2025, BMW Motorrad unveils a new generation of its iconic sports touring motorcycle: the BMW R 1300 RS.

With this new version, BMW has significantly evolved the RS’s styling. The silhouette is now more modern and dynamic, featuring a completely redesigned fairing and a profile that further emphasizes its sporty character. Without compromising the identity of the RS family, this new generation has a stronger and more distinctive personality.

The R 1300 RS remains true to the philosophy that has defined RS models since their beginnings: offering a motorcycle capable of delivering an exhilarating experience on winding roads while remaining perfectly comfortable when it comes to covering long distances.

For 2025, BMW is therefore focusing as much on design evolution as on the riding experience. The motorcycle gains in dynamism and modernity while retaining what defines the RS: a versatile, sporty machine designed for touring.

With the R 1300 RS, BMW is opening a new chapter in its history in the sports touring segment. An important evolution for a model that, for several generations, has accompanied enthusiasts who appreciate performance, long-distance riding and character.

BCD X QUADLOCK PHONE MOUNT: ELEGANCE AND REFINEMENT

The QuadLock x BCD Design phone mount for the R 1300 RS has been designed for riders who want to keep their navigation within sight without ever taking their eyes off the road. On a sports touring motorcycle such as the R 1300 RS, having a reliable, stable and perfectly integrated mount can radically improve everyday riding, whether for an urban commute or a long GPS-guided journey.

Positioned in the centre of the handlebars, this mount provides an ideal, unobstructed location for your QuadLock system. It also allows you to remove the bulky original component that takes up space around the cockpit, highlighting the beautiful handlebars of the R 1300 RS. Its carefully sculpted lines and open design, featuring an elegant stepped detail in the CNC-machined cut-out, make it a component that integrates seamlessly with the motorcycle’s sporty aesthetics.

Adjustable to three positions (“low”, “medium” and “high”) and able to be positioned both vertically and horizontally, it adapts to all smartphones and rider positions without ever obstructing the readability of the instrument cluster. You can therefore enjoy a clear and constant view of your route, with Waze or Coyote always within sight.

Manufactured at our factory in France from high-quality CNC-machined aluminium, laser-engraved with the BCD logo and black anodised, this mount provides long-lasting resistance to UV rays and the elements. The STAGE 4 version is equipped with a QuadLock wireless charging unit and its power cable, providing a plug-and-play connection directly to the R 1300 RS’s original power socket.

BCD DESIGN WINDSCREEN

The BCD Design windscreen for the BMW R 1300 RS radically transforms the front end of the motorcycle with its sporty design. On a motorcycle like the R 1300 RS, the windscreen is one of the key elements of the front end: it sets the tone and immediately catches the eye.

The BCD Design High-Protection Windscreen for the BMW R 1300 RS has been designed for riders who love covering long distances without suffering from the fatigue caused by airflow. On the R 1300 RS, the windscreen plays a key role in comfort, protection and riding enjoyment, whether for everyday riding or a long motorway journey.

With an additional 12 cm of height compared with the original windscreen, it deflects wind, turbulence and bad weather much more effectively. Thanks to this windscreen, you are surrounded by a calmer pocket of air, reducing pressure on the upper body, noise and fatigue over the course of long hours in the saddle. This increased protection never comes at the expense of visibility, which remains perfectly clear both during the day and at night.

Manufactured in France at our factory from high-quality acrylic, it combines aerodynamic efficiency with a distinctive, sporty appearance, naturally extending the lines of the R 1300 RS’s front end.

Another major advantage is that it can be installed without compromising the effectiveness of the front radar (ACC), which remains fully operational. Like the original windscreen, it can still be adjusted to two positions, either using the height-adjustment knob or the holes in the original mounting bracket.
