BRAKE CALIPER COVERS | TMAX 500/530/560 (2008-2025+) - BCD Design

These TMAX BCD Design brake caliper covers are compatible with the Yamaha TMAX 500, 530 and 560 from 2008 to 2025 and beyond.

On many TMAX models, the original caliper caps are gold or grey depending on the trim: the Tech Max, DX and special editions (notably the TMAX 530 from 2012 to 2016) often feature gold caps matching the gold fork, while standard versions get grey caps. Many owners look to turn everything black for a consistent, sporty look. While the fork can be wrapped, the brake calipers until now required repainting or replacing the caliper, a complex, costly operation requiring the vehicle to be fully immobilised.

This product was born precisely from that problem. BCD Design developed these ultra-thin TMAX caliper covers that attach directly onto your original caps to fully cover them and make the original colour disappear, without repainting or removing the caliper. Once in place, they clothe the caliper in a deep, uniform black. A fine chamfer runs around the entire edge of the part and the BCD laser engraving perfects the whole for a resolutely sporty, technical finish. It is the ultimate TMAX accessory for those who want to finally erase the gold from the fork and calipers and unify the front of their TMAX.

Made in France, in our factory, these aluminium TMAX caliper covers are CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium, black anodised and laser-engraved, a treatment that ensures a long-lasting finish that does not flake and durably resists UV and bad weather.

EASY INSTALLATION :

Installation is within everyone's reach. Simply place the supplied "star" (which matches the shape of the original cap) inside your vehicle's cap, then hand-screw the BCD caliper cover onto it: the self-locking threaded rod built into the cover goes into the star and lets the part expand and firmly hold the assembly.

Important: it is essential to bond the assembly with a temperature-resistant silicone adhesive. Without this bonding, the heat variations, humidity and vibrations encountered over thousands of miles could cause loosening, or even loss of the part. This bonding ensures a durable, secure hold.
